The MILIT logo depicts interlocked rings in three service colours resting on top of the nib of a fountain pen highlighting jointness and the significance of knowledge (“Pen is mightier than a Sword”). The service rings are also interlinked with a ‘gear flame’ motif at the top, which highlights ‘Technology Pursuit of Excellence’ in consonance with the MILIT’s motto i.e. ‘Victory through Technology’.
A competition was organised to design a formation sign for MILIT. The winning entry of Mrs Radhika Rajeev Jadhav w/o Maj JB Desai (TSOC43) was adopted as the formation sign on 18 May 2018.
The logo highlighting the jointness in training among the three services viz Army. Air Force and Navy at MILIT was formally adopted on the Raising Day on 01 Apr 19.
