Purple Trophy
It will be awarded to an officer who has been adjudged best among all three DSTSCs in displaying jointmanship.
Award of Purple Trophy for DSTSC
The award of Purple Trophy was instituted in 2018 by CISC in order to enhance the jointmanship among all three services. The student officer adjudged best amongst three services in displaying the qualities of jointmanship will be awarded the trophy with a medal and certificate. The proposed methodology for award of Purple Trophy is as follows (a) It will be awarded to an officer displaying best qualities in jointmanship among all three DSTSCs common curricula taught to all three DSTSCs, knowledge of Tri-Service organisations and operations and service papers on subjects relevant to joint operations.
